what is the loose-loose situation in conflict resolution

As I understand about the following situations:


Win – Win

Confrontation (Problem solving)

Collaborating  - Is it a win-win situation?

In Colloborating, the parties try to incorporate multiple view points in order to lead to consensus.

 

 

Win – lose

 Forcing (Competing, Assertive)

 

Lose – Lose 

Is it Compromising – since both parties gives up something ?
