Dear friends,
Do you know according to pmi, is the pm the chief negotiator for a subcontract for a project work?
should it be the procurement or legal managers?

Hello,
the question was asking if the pm is the chief negotiator for all subcontracts in the projects. The answer is no. But what I really like to confirm is whether the pm is the chief negotiator for contracts he is responsible for? Or is it true that in general, according to PMI, the pm is not regarded as the Chief negotiator for project contracts? I could not find this information anywhere. Please enlighten.
