Measure customer satisfaction at the end of the project is the last step in the closing process group. This is as per the new changes suggested by the PMI RDS Study.

Please validate with other sources as well as PMBOK 4 is still applicable despite the change and does not mention that explicitly

Approximately I would say "yes"
Rita, 6th edition, page 82, has mentioned that issue... but in context of PMI RDS Study - I have no info.

If this is so then When should be a project completed?
If this is then when should be a project completed?
To measure customer's satisfaction could not be validated just after the completion of the project deliverables or products and acceptance by the customer (buyer). What if during the maintenance period of that product, comes out many defects? How woud it relate to the customer's satisfaction, and how it would be guaranteed that this is the last step in the project closure process?
