It's not clearly defined the main purpose of getting global literacy. This is how i picture the global literacy. It is like a payroll system claimed to be the standard paroll system for all companies and businesses. But somehow in my experience as a system consultant-developer, i have never seen nor heard that there was no not even a single modification made during the implementation of the same. It only means that in every company or business there is/are unique process(es)/procedure(s) being done at their end and not being done in other companies. Like ISO certification. It is not to standardize procedures of a company or business but to document or to show the procedures that clearly define it processes. It would better to say global cross-cultural familiarization. No need to learn different languages. Local employees (counterpart) would translate it for you. No need to develop internationally accepted contracts cause every contract should be flexible based on the requirements of the clients. You could side comments on your previous contracts with other clients that "this and that, where included, and if you like to include too in our contract, would be possible." There are drawings and pictograms already been used around the world today especially when you use computer. Most of these drawings are easy to understand. Why not create first the diagram using your own language then translate it by the local counterpart employee prior to presentation.
