Initiation Question

Your organization has initiated an automotive design project, and you have been assigned as the project manager. The sponsor has asked for your help in developing the project charter. A project charter usually does NOT contain:
A. Acceptance criteria
B. Description of deliverables
C. Project approval requirements
D. Project justification

As per the Brainbok , the answer is A. I thought it is B as we just have high level description of the project and no deliverables descripton at this stage. Am i understanding the question incorrectly.

use PMBOK SENSE
DONT USE COMMON SENSE
I mean to say - when you will read and practice PMBOK.( here Practice means - solve 1000 of Ques/ANS).
Your common sense will develop in that perspective - then you will say instantly - option A.
options generally not comes in straight way = those are tricky.
description of deliverables - doest mean detailed description
Acceptance criteria - of product/ deliverables - is one of the detailed descriptions,

I would also go for B
I would also go for B, because while the charter is created no one cares to think anything about deliverables (WBS Activities). Define Activities is the process of identifying the specific actions to be performed to produce the project deliverables and so its description.
Choice A is very ambiguous; I am not sure “acceptance criteria” for what? Acceptance criteria should have a subject like “Product acceptance criteria”, “Requirements acceptance criteria” etc. I am not sure what “acceptance criteria” here means, for what.

Even i would go for B. As
Even i would go for B. As per PMBOK project charter do contain measurable project objectives/Success criteria which is in a way the high level acceptance criteria. What it doesn't contain is Project Deliverables or its description.

Refer p75 and 351
Acceptance criteria is no where, where as description of deliverables in other meaning products description, or products characterstics are there .

I do agree. None of the books says about "Acceptance criteria" is part of Project Charter.

I took this test yesterday
I took this test yesterday (scored 68%) and I marked this question as B as well with the exact same thinking. In fact, I got atleast 3 questions which I got right which I thought were pretty ambigious. That made me question the value of doing the BRAINBOK exam.
