Hi All,


 


I received this question from prodcast on my email. As usual, no answer provided and, as usual, they asked me to go my FB account. I do not have a FB account and neither do I plan to have one. Here is the question,


 


Which of the following statements about Project Scope and Product Scope is correct?


A.) Project Scope is measured against the Project Management Plan.
B.) Product Scope is measured against the Project Management Plan.
C.) Project Scope is measured against the Product Requirements.
D.) Product Scope is measured against the Project Scope Statement.


Hint: Project Scope defines the work that needs to be accomplished to deliver a product, whereas Product Scope is features and functions that characterize a product.


 


I felt "D" should be the answer. Rest on you all.

I Think A is still correct but It only mention Project Scope not both Project scope and Product scope

Page  105 1st and 2 lines, independently statement of option A is correct.


But question is asking "statements about Project Scope and Product Scope is correct"


means both should be there.


Examining Option C and D.


 Logically it can be said that Subject can be measured against object. Object could not be assessed against subject.


Objective of project is - Product and Project scope is dependent of Product scope.


Product scope is fixed first then project scope can be decided .


and thus Option C should be correct.

No further opening of books dudes;;; just basing on the hints given (the hint is true)

Apply the true or false type here for each option. Look.

A. Project scope is measured against the Proj Mgt Plan. True or False?? this is True.

B. Product scope is measured against the Proj Mgt Plan. True or False?  this is False. (tho this may confuse you if you get to think about the sub plans of the Proj. Mgt Plan which may suggest that B is also True.

C. Project Scope is measured against the Product Requirements. Very False

D. Product Scope is measured against the Project Scope Statement. Very False

Surprising that my idol respected Pawarji Sir GIVING UP and that too on a question which I would not rate of very high standard. Certainly not by the very high standards that you have respected Pawarji Sir.


 


I got it wrong. Thats fine. I am just v v ordinary where as you are a legend. A bountiful of class.

FB most voted answer will be always wrong.

While second last is some times true answer.

because after all it is all people comments.

and these are tough categary questions, it quite possible most of people will vote wrong answer.

So it is more certain that most voted answer will always be wrong.

Who are answering from face book by looking most voted option, please be aware your decision is certainly wrong.
