There is nothing unexpected in this respected Pawarji Sir. The answer is an obvious, "Team Buy-in". Warmly, KK...

EXPLAIN PLEASE

Hi Respected Pawarji Sir,

Team Buy-in means bringing everyone in the same hood or at the same platter. Thats what a WBS would do.

Warmly, KK....

Respected Pawarji Sir,

Another factor is that WBS does help in building schedule, budgeting and also in identifying risks. However, 1st thing 1st and that it accentuates team buy-in. The other things come after.

Please also remember respected Pawarji Sir that WBS is not used as an Input or T&T or output for any of the 42 processes sans create WBS.

Regards, KK...

Though I am not competent , but I think it is entirly a misconception because of any mistake incurred and  being followed blindly.

Thanks respected Pawarji Sir.

However, what is the answer?

Warmly, KK....

It is oftenly urged that any question from private choching/institutes should not be criticised.

I am not sure but in my opinion it is not original question.

And it would be -

The process of creating a work breakdown structure most likley results in EXCEPT which of the following?

A. A project schedule

B. Team buy-in

C. A project budget

D. A list of identified risks

ANS is B

What would you say to this question from Rita:

A new PM asked you for advice on creating WBS. After you explain the process to him, he asks you what software he should use to create the WBS, and what he should do with it he is finished creating it. You might respond that it is not the picture that is most valuable result of creating a WBS it is:

  • A Bar Chat

  • Team Buy In

  • Activities

  • A list of risks

RD,

Answer as per Rita to this question is Team Buy-In.

What?

Yes, it is correct.

RD,

Team buy-in is V  important. Unless all agrees on the objective, how can u proceed well? Unless respected Pawarji Sir thinks otherwise.

Warmly, KK.,....

13. Answer B

Explanation The WBS is an input to all of these choices. However, team buy-in is a direct result of the WBS creation process, while the other choices use the WBS to assist in their completion. Involving the team in creating the WBS provides project team members with an understanding of where their pieces fit into the overall project management plan and gives them an indication of the impact of their work on the project as a whole

I can never understand - what expanation is above- PMBOK never explain WBS in such a beautiful way.

RITA says WBS is a TOOL-- read create WBS, here is INPUT

PMBOK says - WBS is a OUTPUT/INPUT

TEAM BUY IN - is a Human resource mgt term if it is being related with OBS, till that it may be considered.

BUT here Team buy is direct result of Work Break down structure, I cant think in my sleep also.

Its beyond my level of understanding.
