As mentioned in my earlier post I am back with my LL's.
First I would like to thank my Wife and Childres for their support through out my preparation. Also I would like to thank all the members of the PMzilla for their posts and feedbacks.
I obtained the 35 Contact hours training through Effective Project management Consultancy in April. I started preparing for the PMP exam in May. I started with PMBOK guide along with the notes provided during the training. On completion on one round of reading I started reading it Process group wise. This way I understood it better.
On completion of second roud I started attempting questions (knowledge areas wise) from the notes and used to refer the explanation provided for the wrong answers. The mock test scores were between 69 and 76 % for various tests. I developed habbit of reading all the answeres and eliminating the wrong ones and then concentrate on only close mathces. This helped me a lot during my PMP exam.
I shared the scores at PMzilla forum and received encouraging feedback. At this point I started referring the Rita's guide. A lesson from from Rita's book and then reading the same from PMBOK, lot of concepts were cleared at this stage.
I took 8 days leave before exam and just concentrated on the PMBOk readings and mock tests. 2/3 Day before the exam I started reading Rajes Nair's notes, excellent material.
on exam day I was tensed. I went to the exam venue an hour before scheduled time and completed the check in formalities. Luckily there was no disturbance during exam and I was able to solve 55 questions per hour. I marked around 30 questions for review. After completing the survey screen showed the result....
I am getting the exam soon and I dont know if memorize the ITTO makes sense, in some mock test I've seen that questions are about it but in other they dont... so in your experience is needed to memorize it?
You are doing Very well. You are on the right track. For me therewere 8-10 questions directly related to ITTO. In my opinoin there is no need to memorize the ITTO's. As you keep on studying more you automatically remember most of the ITTO's. You should study well important Tools and Techniques like, Decomposition, Control Charts, Decision Making techniques, Stakeholder Analysis etc.
In your PMP exam you will find many questions related to these important Tools and Techniques.
