Need clarifications on Answers (HR Plan and Quality Mgt Plan)

 Hi All,    

Please Help me to understand the below answers. thanks in advance. 

 

Qus1.All of the following statements are true regarding the Develop Human Resource Plan process except for which one?

  1. The Develop Human Resource Plan process involves determining roles and responsibilities.

  2. Included in the Develop Human Resource Plan output are project organization charts that show the project's reporting relationships.

  3. The staffing management plan created in this process describes how and when resources will be acquired and released.

  4. RAM (or RACI chart) is an output of this process that allows you to see all the people assigned to an activity.

     

     

Answer: D. The RAM and RACI charts are tools and techniques of this process.

My question here is, If RAM or RACI charts are Tools & Techniques then Organization Chart also Tools and Techniques which is Choice B.
so are these Choice B and D - BOTH ARE INCORRECT  statements here ?
 
 

Qus2: The quality management plan documents how the project team will implement the quality policy. It must address at least all of the followingexcept which one?

  1. Quality control

  2. Quality metrics

  3. Quality assurance

  4. Continuous process improvement

     

Correct Answer: B. Quality metrics are an output of the Plan Quality process.
 
I have chosen answer as Quality Control (Choice A) but still not clear on the above reason for choosing B.
can anyone help me to understand ?

1.D is a general thought, not been universally true. as all people on an activity is not possible within RACI


2,Quality Metrics is the part of quality plan process, so its not necessary to address separately.

Answer to Q 1 :


Correct answer is D. Please understand that T&T and Output has a difference here:



  1. Output: Output is "Project Organization Chart" This means the hireachial relationship of team members of YOUR project (the project you are managing as PM). So in option B please read the answer it tells as "Project Organization chart" and not just "Organization chart"

  2. Tool and Tech: "Orgainzation chart" is a Tool to come out with YOUR project Organizaiton chart.

(Tip: You might have seen Orgainzation chart as a Tool in Microsoft powerpoint slides. These can be used to show any hirearchy, may be it of your project team structure, your Business unit reporting strucutre, the whole organization reporting strucutre ...etc)
