Engineering Back ground

Hi,

 

I have Engineering back ground. Currently developed some interest in PMP certification. Can someone with engineering back ground guide. Just to give some background. I have MSc + three years plus of engineering experience.

 

1) How to get started ? Where to get started actually.

2) I have worked on different projects as an engineer but havent got any project management experience. Will it be counted ?

Any reference link of someones crack story with engineering background.

2) Yes.  Your title does not have 2 be project manager.  Your work definitely involves some portion of inititation, planning, executing, monitoring and control & closing tasks.  With your Masters + 3 years experience you already met part of the requirements
