Difficulty in ITTO's
I have done 1 reading of PMBOK and Rita and when attempting mock I am scoring 65% due to many questions getting wrong in ITTO'S ..seems the mid 30's effect is having on memory ..jokes apart I have tried writing them on paper but somehow not able to register them thoroughly ..don't want to do rote learning ..any expert tips to register them logically or there are any notes or URL/site references which connect them

If you score around 65% in PMP exam...
PMP exam is not for fresh graduates and the age group you are in i.e. 30ies is the average age group for majority of PMP aspirants. Recently one of my student passed PMP at the age of 59 just to grab an important position before retirement. In short, learning and growing does not have any age as long as you have will to grow.
Back to your question, your concern over grasping IITO is nothing rare, honestly everyone has this problem. Move with a goal, make a goal to pass PMP exam and not to be 100% right. PMI also do not care what percentage and proficient level you score, your PMP certificate just says you have passed PMP exam and nothing else. Perfection and passing are two different things; while you can pass with a plan and trick you cannot be perfect with these. I am stressing on trick rather. Find out your ways to learn IITO, whether your mug-up, understand, play games, watch vide etc, it’s your call as per your comfort level.
Some of the paid providers too offer quick PMP recap type guide, you might look for these paid one or free one like we have Rajesh Nair notes here and read it 2-3 times daily.
Coming to your mock result, honestly if you score around 65% in PMP exam, you are likely to pass. I don’t see you doing bad that you get discouraged. It also depends upon the mock test you are taking i.e. its complexity level. All I would say is that, self evaluate. As long as you make mistake during your mock practice, its good for you as this way you are actually removing gaps. The more gaps you find, the stronger you would become.
Considering these aspects, I see you are doing good and if you have around 15 days in hand and with this type of your effort you should crack the PMP exam.
Good Luck!

Concentrate on PMBOK especially its IITO’s
What is the remaining time? I am not sure and neither I find this information in your post anywhere. Your aggressiveness shows it should be around 10-15 days, so lets assume that and here is my suggestion to you.
As you say you are able to find around 35% gaps through mock test, that’s wonderful. This way by taking similar mock test you will already remove around 35% gaps you find in you. Keep in mind PMI is going to refer PMBoK and just PMBoK to draft PMP questions. This means every single line of PMBOK is a potential PMP questions. I would not advice you to refer any reference books now, for every gaps you find, refer PMBOK section and remove the gaps. In case the section you read from PMBOK is difficult for you to understand then read that particular section from the reference books you have.
Concentrate on PMBOK especially its IITO’s, summery pages at this point of time and keep giving good mock tests to remove your gaps.
Good Luck!
