This could be nothing for people who post much valuable information in this site. I have just jot down my understanding to remember few key parameters in Executing & M&C process groups,

Ø  “Change requests” is the key output for all M&C processes.

Ø  “Change requests” is the key input only in Perform Integrated Change Control.

Ø  “Change request updates” is the key output only in Perform Integrated Change Control.

Ø  “Approved Change requests” is the key input in the following processes,

o   Perform Quality Control

o   Administer Procurements

o   Direct & Manage Project Execution

Ø  “Validated deliverables” is an output only in Perform Quality Control and input only in “Verify Scope”.

Ø  “Work Performance Information” is the key output only in “Direct & Manage Project Execution”.

Ø  “Work Performance Information” is the key input in “Perform Quality Assurance” – Only place in Executing processes.

Ø  “Work Performance Information” is the key input in all M&C processes except

o   Monitor & Control Project Work

o   Perform Quality Control

o   Verify Scope

Ø  “Work Performance Measurements” is the key output only in 3 processes,

o   Control Scope

o   Control Schedule

o   Control Costs

Ø  “Work Performance Measurements” is the key input only in 2 processes,

o   Perform Quality Control

o   Report Performance

Ø  “Performance Reports” is the key output only in “Report Performance”.

Ø  “Performance Reports” is the key input in the following processes,

o   Manage Project Team

o   Distribute Information

o   Monitor & Control Project work

o   Monitor & Control risks

o   Administer Procurements

Ø  “Project Management Plan” is the key input in all Executing, Monitoring & Control & Closing process groups.
