Need your help!

 Hi,

Am planning to join Simplilearn - 30 days Online 35 hours contact classes for PMP exam preparation.

Can anyone suggest, whether this program will be ok or good or not good so that I can make my decision to join the program.

Looking forward to have your needful suggestions.

Yes the program is okay. Have reasonable expectations.

I have PMstudy as my second option for this 35hours contact classes online program.

Which one is better and I should join?

I have 6 and half years working exp. in Project Management as a Project Engineer.

Presently I  have PMBOK 4th Edition and RITA course material and have just started preparing for the exam. I want to appear for the certification by 2nd week of Feb '13. Will I be able to clear the exam in my first attempt itself.

Hope your comments will be helpful for me.

 Hi,

I had researched a lot before joining for a bootcamp. Simplilearn is fine in its approach, materials, mock tests. But I would strongly recommend PMstudy ahead of it as it has great approach, materials and excellent mock tests. Other offerings of PMstudy associated with this course are also great. So its a great value for money. Still I would suggest you can find out more from their website so that you can be clear about thhe offerings of PMstudy.

Chris

Thanks for your suggestions Chris.

Actually I selected PM study only previously but for the 35 hours contact classes through online for 30 days, PMStudy was offering for 110$ and Simplilearn for 58$. So just thought I should ask for experts opinion about this Simplilearn prior to finalising on the program.

 Hi,

I have recently completed 4 days boot camp with PMstudy and now I am PMP certified. Their PMP clasroom course was great. I would definitely recomend others.

All the best!!

Hi there,

I would add to what Chris has already replied to you.

The price charged by PMstudy might be a tad higher but you have to take into consideration what you are getting after being associated with PMstudy. I benefited immensely and hence I am their equivocal supporter. Without their help I would not be adding a PMP after my name :)

I would also recommend that you take their free test to know how good they are.

Though nothing to take away from Simplilearn who might be a great provider but I would definitely advise that you go with PMstudy.

Regards,

Pete

 Hi Pete,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I have been also hearing good things about PMstudy. I am planning to go ahead and attend their program.

In addition, I have heard that their faculty helps you even after the boot camp incase you need any clarification.

In advance a Happy X'mas and a Very Happy New Year to everyone.

Regards

Mark

 Hi ,

Happy New year.

I would request when you are planning to do a PMP, please make sure you compare atleast 2-3 provider who provide coaching for PMP....

I am doing the same i had compared 2-3 competitor as per the passing percetage i felt PMstudy is better as few of my friend had attended thier classes. I will suggest please check with the PMstudy and others also.

Please compare before you spend your time which is valuable and ofcourse your hard earn money.

A survey in anything always helps  for a better planning and action.

Have a happy learning...

Kevin.....

Hi Uthuman Ansari,

I had taken PMP certification from PMstudy and I found it good. They provide good materials and have a very good money back guarantee as well. But then few of my colleagues have taken courses from Simplilearn and PMTI and suggest they are good as well.
