Could you kindly clarrify whether to study both books "PMBOK" and "Rita". I am just referring to only PMBOK. Please provide your valuable inputs. I have not touched Rita.

Thanks Admin, But Still .....
Dear Admin,
For my previous attempt I have completely depended only on Rita, and I could not clear. So for this attempt I have just referred only PMBOK. So just would like to take your inputs for the same. Would you like me to refer to Rita book too or not.
I have planned to refer to only PMBOK and RajeshNairs Notes . Would these two eb sufficient to clear PMP.
I really dont want to take any chances now. So request you to kindly provide your valuable inputs for the same.
Thanks,
Vishwanath

Dear Vishwanath,
In my opinion, only PMBOK may not be enough. I'd suggest a combination of Rita + PMBOK (read Rita at least twice). In fact, if anything you should rely on Rita slightly more than you would on PMBOK.
I cleared my exam on the first try, and can confidently say that Rita's contribution to my efforts was to the tune of 70%
Also, one must undertake full legth practice tests, at least 3 - 4 of them to get a hang of how the exam can be,
You should also keep referring to various blogs and posts online, especially http://blog.simplilearn.com/

Hi,
The preparation you are doing is really good. Rita will also help you a good deal but focus mainly on PMBOK. In addition to it, I would also suggest you to take a few mock tests from any of the training providers such as Simplilearn, PMstudy, Global Knowledge, etc which will help you to prepare even better.

My question is a little
My question is a little other way round - Can I just use Rita to pass the PMP exam? I don't have the capacity or the time to open that crazy PMBOK.
