Passed PMP on 12/5/2013 4P's and 1 MP
Thanks to Allah, I've passed PMP exam and I'd like to share my experience
1- Study from rita every single word
2- Review from PMBOK vertically (i.e by process group) to capture any missing info and have a clear vision on the right sequence of processes
2- Practice at least five simulation exams including
a. Rita fast track (PMP & Super PMP).
b, Calculations http://www.scribd.com/doc/28680971/101-PMP-Sample-Questions-for-the-PMP-Exam
c. PM study http://www.pmstudy.com/enroll.asp#PMP
d. first head http://www.headfirstlabs.com/PMP/pmp_exam/v1/quiz.html#
3- You MUST follow rita's tip not to study on the night before the exam.
Finally, during the exam the best way to find the right answer is to put the 42 proceeses map in your mind and find out where you stand exactly.
Goodluck, and thanks for everybody who provided any advice through this forum

Congratulations adham! Any
Congratulations adham! Any important pointers you would want us (testtakers) to note on the format of the real exam, like
Q. Approximately how many situational questions were asked out of 200?
Q. Were they big (7 to 10 lines) or medium (3 - 4 line) questions
Q. How many calculation questions?
Q. How many questions on ITTO (direct / indirect)
I am scheduled to take the exam, this coming weekend. Any help would be appreciated.

@ CrushPMP
You seem to have good grasp on the subject. I have noticed some of your responses in the forum and I am basing this judgement. I am new to the forum and have just started to open PMBoK and Rita's. I figure you are good at Statistics so you should be right in calculations? If not, just try Dave Litten's Critical Task explained on Youtube under 17 minutes. Just brilliant and I was compelled to spend some dollars on his PMP Primer.
All the best and any tips/tricks on your exam experience is much appareciated.
FYI, I am scheduled on 30th July. Time is against me as I am juggling 4 critical projects delivery at work and given the financial year end, it is not helping me in anyway :(.
Best wishes,
Ram

Thanks all.here's my
Thanks all.
here's my ffedbak
Q. Approximately how many situational questions were asked out of 200?
50% of the exam is situational but as I said it mainly depends where you are in the 42 processes and you'll find it too easy to answer
Q. Were they big (7 to 10 lines) or medium (3 - 4 line) questions
medium to small and forget about the complexity of Rita's fast track but it's good to have rita's exam to understand the subject and capture your gap areas
Q. How many calculation questions?
25% of the exam and you have to be awake while solving it :D
Q. How many questions on ITTO (direct / indirect)
25% I think the ramining was ITTO, but takecare theses percentages might differ from one exam to another.

Hi Guys,
I am new to this forum, I have seen lot of people have recommended reading Rita's book. Can someone advise if this is available free online or I need to buy a new one essentially.
Thanks!
