Submitted by Nishu on Sun, 07/07/2013 - 16:57
simple q but confused me cos 'you' is left out .
You have eight key stakeholders to communicate with on your project. Which of the following is true?
ideally I would calculate as 9x8/2 = 36. However Kim H answer says 28 ( 8x7/2). which solution is correct. I would expect that you count yourself as well u count nodes? pls help asap

I know what you mean.
I know what you mean. Not sure why the project manager is not counted in the total.
Let's try an example...
'You have eight little children to give chocolates to' => Total people = 8 + you = 9
Compare the above with-
'You have eight key stakeholders to communicate with' => Total people = 8 + you = 9
Should be 9, I would think.
Regards.

This is confusing always as
This is confusing always as in different mock exams there are different answer...some test the PM is counted and some places it is not counted and I don't which is the right way of calculating...
as per the PMBOK...PM is also counted under communication channels...does anyone has different theory?
