Passed PMP version 5

Just passed the PMP version 5 test on Aug 27.
2P's and 3MP's. Have been studying for about 1 month.

Lessons learned.

1). Read the PMBOK several times, including the glossary.

2). Used Skillsoft PMP prep courses online, paid by employer. Good material to back up the PMBOK.

3). PMPerfect.com practice tests. They have practice exam questions (1100) for version 5. They have 22 tests and the ability to randomly create tests. Very good, highly recommended. Made several 4 hours tests and practiced sitting and concentrating for 4 hours.

The test was a little more difficult than any mock exam.
Did a good brain dump sheet during the intro and was ready to go.

It can be done with only 1 month of prep time but I not seen my wife or kids for the last month. So off to spend some quality time with the family.

Congragulations, I wish I could devote one solid month to studying but my family and job would not allow that.  You have to do what you have to do!

How much you were scoring in the pmperfect practice tests?.I subscribed to Pmperfect and will appear for exam on 1st sept.

I was scoring in the mid-80's to mid-90's. The test questions are a good example of the type found on the exam.
The exam is slightly harder than the mock tests but Pmperfect exams are good preparation for the real exam, especially creating the 4 hour 200 question tests.

PLz send the materials which u had used... for LL. Since I failed twice with Pmbok4th editions... Kindly can u send me rita8th edition soft copy & Headfirst 2nd edition ..
