Please read LL on this forum, its not impossible but you will need to put a lot of effort.

Dear All, Firstly wishing all a great 2014! May we all become PMPs certified and also practitioners..
Though i have been a member for 7+ months but have only recently become active as i have to clear my PMP by 20th Feb at the latest. what exactly is LL??
Any help to clear PMP exam within 30-40 days with 2-3 days study daily would be most useful.
Cheers, Mayank

Mayank.. just go though rita 8th edition plus PMBOK 5th edition, Finish it off and in the final 5 to 10 days attempt online tests and mock tests.. If u follow this.. you are in i feel :)

I think so.. I am starting with PMBOK5 and Rita 6th Edition(know 8th is out, but i have 6th and think it should be fine..) Will start with the mock tests by Jan end.. All the best to you too for Jan end PMP exam..

Actually my real effort will start from today since i was quite deeply engaged in work.. will see.. 21 days left.. challenge is getting tougher ..
i have got rita 8th edition..its quite good

Mayank.. try 35 hours pm education on proxalt and go through ombok n rita 8th edition.. i think we can make it through...

thofa4u ,
I would like to know how is you exam?

Dear All,

Wish you all a happy new year 2014.

And the good news for me to start with the new year is I cleared the PMP exam. I took PMstudy's 4 day Boot camp and it helped me a lot to crack this exam. Believe me the PMP exam is not really tough to crack. It is how you study and understand the concepts of project management. With PMstudy's focused Bootcamp program it was really a cake walk for me. Thanks to my tutor and PMstudy for helping me..Good luck folks...pmp training

 Hi,

LL Means Lesson Learned. You may find some post with subject "I passed PMP ...." in the forums. Admin is refering that.

*** If you are already in Project management and you can spend 8 hours a day, it is possible. ***

Break the learning into 3 parts

1) PMBOK 5th edition (atleast once)

2) Rita 8th edition (atleast twice)

3) Mock Exams (atelast 10, 200 quetion exams)

Go through

                    1) Pmbok

                    2)  Rita

                    3)  Mock Exam (Preferably from PMStudy,Scordo,PMZilla)

                    4)  Findout the gaps

                    5) Gothorugh Rita again. Refer PMBOK for gaps.

                    6) Do the step 3 to 5 till you get confidence.

But i warn you, it is possible only you have experience and time as mentioned earlier.

Hey buddy! Firstly let me assure you it is a good bet that you have laid, as in the process you will end up becoming a PMP professional!! While PMP is not simple by any standards, it may seem rather simple by following either of the two ways. The two ways being:
1. Well this one is quite straight forward. NO SUBSTITUTE TO HARD WORK!
2. This way, which is a more conventional and smarter way, which is to join a PMP training program. There are plenty of providers with awesome methodologies. Most of them have a very value of money packages, however the training provider I would personally suggest is PMStudy.com. You can enroll directly from: pmp certification The best thing about them is the quality and the qualification of the trainiers compounded with a Money Back Guarantee.

Go for it!!! All the best!

any tried to rely on Rita 8th edtion togother with the fast track...where mock exams and updated regulary...any suggestions

 Hey,

If you have time limits for clearing PMP, why dont you consider registering yourself for a PMP training course from a PMI R.E.P. These institutes very well know what exactly participants need to prepare to crack PMP exam at the first attempt.

I am going to register myself for a PMI R.E.P. named KnowledgeWoods. Many of my colleages at office have attended KW's 4 Days PMP training program, and they managed to clear their PMP exam within the timeframe of 30-45 days. Do check the details of this course at http://www.knowledgewoods.in/PMP and let me know how you find it.

Wishing you all the luck for your PMP endeavors
