Mock scores interpretation

Hello All,

I have been preparing for PMP using primarily PMBOK, Rita and Andy crow for initial understanding and introduction .

After reading the andy crow twice, PMBOK 1 time and Rita twice, I attempted the PM study exam and scored 76 %.

Since I was not completely satisfied with the score, I again read PMBOK and rita once and then attempted the following mock papers :

1. Examcentral : 85%

2. Head first labs : 81%

3. Olivier 175 questions : 73.4 % ( Ext difficult questions and new terms )

4.Olivier 75 questions : 68% ( Ext difficult questions and new terms )

I reviewed all the questions thoroughly and identified my gaps, however today I took the PMP for sure 100 questions exam and got a shocking score of just 62% and failed.

The paper did not seem to look difficult and when I reviewed the answers, I did not find any specfic gaps in my knowledge or new terms, it is just that I picked up the wrong answer out of the 2 closest options.

On another day, I could have scored more than 80% on this paper, so I am a little concerned about my score.

So I would really appreciate your feedback on my following questions :

1. How do my scores look ? are they good enough ?

2. I have 2 weeks left before the exam and luckily one week out of which is off work and dedicated studying time, so what should be my plan to make sure I get the PMP tag...

Looking forward to your feedback.

Regards

I think you are doing a good job on the test. You are right in the ball park to passing the PMP. I would recommend writing out the ITTO that you have trouble with. Also I recommend taking an exam that breaks it down by knowledge group so you know exactly where to study at. Why waste time on an area that you are all-star at. You know? Here are a couple free exams you can try that will show your gaps.

Exam I

Exam II

Exam III

Good luck on your test!

Agree, that is a good idea, I am planning to start rita's pmp prep software which has questions as per the knowledge areas.
Thanks for the feedback.
Hi All,

I would appreciate your view on my scores.

Hi All,

Please share some feedback.

You need some more practice. The tests you have scored more  are not representative of real exam.

Thank you, I took the following exams in the past 3 days with scores :

1. Techfaq : 84 %

2. Simplilearn : 74.5 %

I have the exam in another 9 days, I plan to solve all the questions in Rita prepcast software + plus g through Rita once again.

What else do you suggest me to cover..

Regards
