  Senior management has imposed a project delivery date prior to the acceptance of

project scope statement. To whom is the project manager MOST accountable?

a) Project sponsor

b) Project team

c) Customer

d) Senior Management

 

Pls let us know the rational for chossing a particular answer?

PM is accountable to Sponsor and Sponsor will be accountable to Clients.

PM is accountable to whome sign the Project charter and who appoint him in the project and gave the authority.  All that in the Project Charter.  Here, Project Sponsor is the default one.

the project manager must facilitate a fair and equitable solution, but the CUSTOMER is the first of equals.

I too went with sponosor but the answer guide says customer....
