S Curve Questions
Hi
Have seen in a number of LL people mentioning they got questions on EVM requiring interpretation of data from the S curve.Have searched in Pmzilla for the same and found the following link
http://pmzilla.com/getting-values-evpvac-s-curve
There is a link on that thread which goes
http://www.planningplanet.com/forums/planning-scheduling-programming-dis...
But in that page images are not displayed.
But got to read another page with lesser data and got the following concepts
Actual Costs S curve plotted to y axis gives AC value
Target S curve plotted gives EV
Baseline curve plotted gives PV
The difference on X axis between target and actual gives the slippage
The difference between baseline and target on the y axis gives growth/no growth signs
Is there anything more I need to understand on this topic. Also would the exam provide clear points so that values can be easily plotted on the graph?
Thanks

The page you have mentioned
The page you have mentioned covers S Curve in detail. That should be enough understanding for PMP Exam.

I have a few doubts regarding
I have a few doubts regarding S curve graph interpretation
1.When do we say that project has grown/contracted?Is it when EV>PV or EV
2.In some questions there are three types of S curves: Baseline,Target and Actual
My understanding is Baseline=PV,Target=EV,Actual=AC
Is this correct??
