Passed PMP - First Attempt - June 23, 2014 - 5 MP's
After arduous 6 months effort, successfully cleared PMP certification exam with 5 MP's.
PMBOK - Page to Page - twice
RMP - Page to Page - Once
Revision - both books once
Questions Taken - 4200 (goal was to take 5000)
Submitted application on December 19, 2013 (luckily didn't have to go through auditing).
Started reading Rita book page to page and then started reading PMBOK page to page, by now I'm at Mid-April.
I use to hear Cornelius Fichtner's YouTube Videos, very valuable suggestions - especially his tips are highly suggested, so taking his suggestion booked my exam date on June 23, 2014, wore sweater to exam (made me feel very comfortable) but they did not allow me to take physical calculator in though, but felt the available calculator very easy - you can type the numbers using keyboard.
Another good suggestion is to do questions from early stages of preparation - this will help you remember terms which you have been making mistakes, writing notes & reviewing them time to time so that you don't repeat those mistakes.
With that suggestion, started with Exam Central practice questions, completed 1000 q's in a month, then did PMPFORSURE, PM Practice Questions, few Christopher Scordio, OSP PMP Stimulator free questions.
So one day I was reading lessons learnt in some other website and a professional from Hong Kong wrote his LL but mentioned strongly to take "Situational Questions" as many as possible, so while reviewing everyone suggested PMStudy as being close to the real exam, frankly PMZilla which gave me answers everytime I wanted, there was one of LL's by a member who posted this link of PMStudy
http://www.pmstudy.com/enroll.asp?course=pmp&pplink=simulated-test
There are about 850 practice questions (highly highly recommended) - make notes of each question, review them before your exam, these questions make your concepts very clear as to what you know and what you have to know, while taking the exam I felt very comfortable and didn't really feel tensed as the questions in PMStudy by far the closest to the real exam.
Full Exams taken - 6 - 1 Exam central, 1 Simplilearn and 4 PMStudy.
PMStudy - individual chapter questions repeat in full exams but I wanted to make sure of my basics and double check my basics.
Initially I use to get 60% for my practice but as I came close to the exam date...the percentage was close to 80%.
Topics mainly to concentrate for Exam:
1) Conflict Resolutions
2) Contract Types
3) Tuckmann's ladder
4) EVM Calculations
5) Critical Path - Float Calculations
6) S Curve Analysis
All in all...as the Greek soldiers say "One who sweats more in practice bleeds less in War", after practicing so many questions...the main exam was challenging & tweaked questions but felt that would clear the exam but only question was with how (P's or MP's or BP's).
The moment I saw Congratulations, was so relieved..truly a journey worth going through and learning so much...
Major thanks to PMZilla and each member who has assisted me, been a stakeholder in my journey.
Hope it helps, kindly let me know any assistance - happy to assist.

Dont worry - be confident
For Brain Dump, see to have below topics:
1) process groups table
Search for Anil Choudary formuale sheet, it's an old one but a good one which has
2) all formulae like EVM EAD PERT, communication channels, six sigma %, deviation ratios.
3) contract types - reread them and i'm sure you will do good.
75% - 77% on PMStudy is good believe me I was getting 70%
It doesn't matter how many P's or MP's you get, all it matters is whether you passed the exam or not...so go for it....give your best...im sure you will do well...good luck...
