question on control chart

hi uys,
need your advices on control char for a question
what do you think and why

q117 Your compagny manufactures bearings for the automobile industry. Control charts are used to determine wheather or not a process is stable or has preditcable performance. Specification limits indicate :
A ) If process is within control limits
B ) Wheather the product would be successful in the market
C ) Maximum and minimum values allowed
D ) Process improvement opportunities.

OK got it, it's actually easy. The question doesnt ask what is require to validate if it's stabl eor not, no it ask about specification limit.

Control limit =

To verify if process is stable

This is set by PM and stakeholders

Specification limit =

Max/min value provide in the contract by the customer

note :

Control limit must be more strick than Specification limit

The correct answer is C) maximum and minimum values allowed

PM should set strict control limits so that the process/product in within the customer's requirement otherwise the chances of accepting the deliverables will slim down.

@coolpmp69 why not A?

@farhanmazhari

If the process is stable and then it will be certainly within control limits. But the question is asking about specification limit and not the control limit so option A is ruled out here
