Hello All,
I am right now beginning studying the PMP, and I believe that i will not be ready before 1st of November. That means am going to take the exam after 1st of Nov.
My questions:
- Is it wise to carry on studying PMP while am knowing that the exam will be change?
- Do I have to wait till new material covering the new PMP version published?
- Is the change really affected and noticeable?
- How can I ensure that am studying the PMP within the new changes in domains?
Any further advice is really needed! am really worried and confused.
Many thanks,
Faisal

Over 99% contents stills remain the same
Hello Faisal,
Even if you completely ignore the changes w.r.t 1st November 2015, you can secure 5P with the same preparations. Out of 200 questions in the real exam, not more than 3-4 questions should change and hence nothing has changed when you see from exam passing score.
Answers:
1.Is it wise to carry on studying PMP while am knowing that the exam will be change?
A) Absolutely yes, just make sure you are reading PMBOK 5 and its reference books.
2.Do I have to wait till new material covering the new PMP version published?
A) PMI has already published those changes in 5 pages. Google for “pmp-certification-exam-outline” and you can download the PDF which has been added.
3.Is the change really affected and noticeable?
A) Not at all, only 0.3% of new contents have been added. Over 99% contents stills remain the same.
4.How can I ensure that am studying the PMP within the new changes in domains?
A) Just read PMBOK v5 and its reference books and read “pmp-certification-exam-outline” (those 5 pages) which PMI has published. You are all set. Please do not buy any new books or get into trap of new products and pay high perks.
Admin, please highlight this to PMP aspirants. Just few new tasks have been added in the domains and these are nothing very new for anyone. Things we already know and we already hear in sessions and classrooms. PMBOK v 5 remains the same and it would be the base for the exam unlike what we have as of today.
