Projet management plan updates

Hi,

I am new to this forum and have been viewing several posts and this forum has helped in bridging some of my knowledge gaps.

I wanted to know, if we can update the approved PM plan without formal change approval.

I am not talking about the scope,time and cost baseline's but the other subsidiary plans.

It is simple logic, once any thing approved , any change could not be made without approval.

Otherwise why you had it approved?
