Risk management related confusion

Hi PMP Aspirant,


As you guys know, All Risk Management Process (6 quality process)  comes under Planning and Monitoring only. Here I have question why Risk doesn't come under Execution? as you know, Project Manager monitors the Risk through out the project cycle then why it only for Planning and Monitoring control only ? why not in execution phase?

Why Risk management is not during the execution ? Simply because risk are not executed. If risks must be managed, then they have to be at the earliest stage e.g. during the planning stage to avoid their occurence during the execution. However, they must be monitored, and should they occur, must be controlled.
