Failed first try

I have been in the forum for a while and took many advices here. I scored 3mp and 2bp. I did well in practice exams 70 and 80. Simplilearn was one I used and I did some from pmstudy. I feel that  these practice questions are not as realistic as the acutual exam. I have read the books such Crowy pm book guide. Did over a thousand questions.  Knew half of the itto. Just don't see the relevance of these practice sirtes with the test. Any suggestions or plan of study or better test engines to use ? Thanks

Dont be disheartend, Fistly U should have PMBOK 5 & Rita thats Enough material for prepration.

Can Know the Process Group Which u got BP?.

I think u need to clear your understanding.

Give a 10-15 days off & start from begining again.

You will do in next 2-3 months, i suggest dont go too late for it.

You know how the exam is & u studied also.

Failure is stepping stone to sucess.

do you know why some pass with the same score as I did? Is it something I can contest with Pmi. If so do you know the process of contesting your results ?  Thank You.

Sorry to hear for you. You may find my PMP lesson learnt useful here:

Hi,

Project Management Professional (PMP) is not an easy exam to attempt. Lasting for 4 hours, it has 200 multiple choice questions, of which one has to answer at least 106 correctly to qualify. The exam is designed to be extremely difficult so that only the best candidates can get the certification. This is the reason why PMP holds immense value and its certificate holders get paid handsomely.

I have an article about How to Cope With Failure in PMP Examination. I hope it helps you.

Hi,

Sorry to hear that but take it in the right spirit. It was just the circumstances and situation that could practise appropriate set of questions before your exam. Just believe in yourself things will be fine.

As far as EVM questions are concrened sharing a very good link with you which I used, to clear my EVM concepts

I have found an interesting perspective on passing the pmp which I am thinking about buying. It says you don't have to buy so many study material to prepare for exam? Has anyone bought this? I mean its only .99. Im curious. I really need to pass this exam!
