Project Life cycle = Miles stones, phases, from design, build, etc

Product life cycle = Series of phases that represent the evolution of a product from concept to delivery to maturity to retirement ( from begin to end)

What about Cost Life Cycle ?

I know it cover operation and maintenance of the product, but does it conver it only after project is done or even during project ?
